AFC Leopards could well be on their way to a commendable finish this season after joining the top eight positions last weekend.

The widely supported community club has been struggling in the third quarter of the standings especially in the first leg of the season but have managed to regain competitiveness in the second leg.
Their elite acquisitions during the mid season transfer window as been touted as the greatest secret behind the renewed fighting spirit. The coach Jan Koops also seems to have come with good fortunes for the club that has lately been shining.
Ingwe have not lost a single of their last six matches with the last loss being a month ago against arch rivals Gor Mahia. They lost the match 3-1 at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Leopards are now placed seventh on the standings with 33 points hot on the heels of fellow community club Gor Mahia who come in sixth with 37 points after a shaky performance over the last couple of matches.
The former have a chance to close in on Gor coming weekend when they meet at the Nyayo national Stadium for their 24th game of the season.
The match will be played on Sunday October 2 2011 starting 1500Hrs.
