Omolo kicks off preseason in Belgium

From Monday 18 June Johanna Omolo’s Belgian side Beerschot AC kicked off preseason training, six weeks ahead of the 2012/13 season that kicks off on Saturday 28 July 2012.

First of eight friendly games

The club has spelt out its itinerary as a guide through the preseason. After a fortnight, Beerschot will be off for a four day training camp, from 2 July, in Doorwerth, Netherlands.

On 23 June, the team will take on KFCO Wilrijki in its first of eight friendly games to get in shape of the season.

Omolo, 22, featured in five league games

The last friendly, against Herenveen is set for Saturday 21 July, a week before the team kicks off its 2012/13 Jupiler season with a home tie against Lokeren.

In the past season, Kenyan midfielder Omolo, 22, featured in five league games as his team ended up 11^th in the 16 team table during the regular season
