Western Stima lost to KCB in the Tusker Premier League (TPL) encounter pitting the two sides at the Bukhungu Stadium on Sunday 30 September and coach Henry Omino believes the result was a true reflection of the game.
Mwaura screamer
The home side went into the game on the back of two big wins, over AFC Leopards and Sofapaka but fell to a wonderfully taken Edwin Mwaura goal and Omino insists the two big wins which placed Stima as the favourites did not get into the players’ heads.
Omino, speaking to futaa.com, said his boys knew what to do in the game and admitted that they gave a good output though it fell short.
Knew expectations
-I don’t think they went into the game big headed after the AFC Leopards and Sofapaka wins; we had talked about it and they knew what the expectations were.
-We gave our best but fell short, lost to a great goal and a lucky one too. We will fight another day, he said.
