Omino angles for giant killing KCB

Omino

Western Stima coach Henry Omino is preparing his team for the Sunday 30 September visit by KCB at the Bukhungu Stadium and is cautious not to let the big wins over AFC Leopards and Sofapaka get into his players’ heads.

Giant killers

The coach believes the bankers will pose a stiffer competition compared to the two giants and has called on his players to apply a lot of caution when playing the team that he labelled ‘giant killers’.

-I know we are currently on good form; people are looking at us seriously after the wins in the last two matches but I don’t want my players to carry that into the game. In this business once you play a game you move on and target three points in the next, that is what I want for my team now, he told futaa.com.

Surprises

-KCB is known to spring surprises – they are giant killers in their own respect and the worst that we can do at the moment is to take the foot off the gas.

Western Stima managed a 2 – 0 win over the bankers in the first leg meeting between the two sides at the Nairobi City Stadium.
