Oliech set for Bastia Cup date

From 2200hrs local time on Wednesday 31 October 2012, lethal Kenyan skipper Dennis Oliech will lead Auxerre from the front when the team faces off with French Ligue 1 side Bastia in a Domestic Cup round of 8 tie planned for the Armand Césari, Furiani.

Heading to the game, Oliech carries three goals from each of his last three games; an international goal against South Africa and two goals in Ligue 2 against Lens and Dijon.

To have booked Bastia, Auxerre beat Ligue 2 side Angers 2-0 in a round of 16 tie played on 25 September 2012. Bastia on the other hand hit Metz 3-0 to get to the round of 8.

Oliech is in the lineup released by head Coach Jean Guy Wallemme.
