Dennis Oliech will hope to get back to his scoring ways when his Auxerre side travels to SC Caen in the French Ligue one, Sunday 5 February 2012.
Oliech, had suffered an injury scare during training in midweek, after robust contact with one of his teammates but has however been passed fit and will thus go hunting for his ninth goal of the current campaign at Caen, who are just one point ahead of the Burgundy outfit.
Currently in the relegation places at position 19 in the table, with a similar number of points, Oliech's goal scoring prowess will be relied on, to spur a winning run of form.
Leap up table
Auxerre can jump to as high as position 15 with victory, so coach Laurent Fournier has urged his players to carry the day.
-The position on the table is not good for us, because we have played better than the position we are in at the moment.
-We have to take responsibility and go on and carry the points, the Auxerre coach told the league's official website.
The match kicks off at 1900 hrs local time.
Oliech needs to rip a new one for second bottom Auxerre
