Oliech named player of the month

After an official tally of votes by AJ Auxerre, Dennis Oliech has been pronounced the club’s player of the month, for the month of December 2011.

Oliech scooped 67% of the vote beating Kamel Chafni  who had 12% and Prince Segbefia with 6%, in a poll conducted on the club's official website.

The striker, who is currently the club’s top scorer, has netted seven goals in the 18 matches he has played in the current season. He is ranked third in French Ligue 1’s list of top scorers.

It’s his superb performance in the month of December that saw him rise 117 places to sit at position 149 globally, as per the Castrol Edge rankings.
