Now back home after seven seasons out in
Tanzania and Zanzibar, former Kenya U23 Coach Tom Timam Olaba has will not mind
taking up the vacant position left at reigning Kenyan Premier League side
Tusker FC.
Most welcome
Speaking to futaa.com, Olaba, now in the Country to stay after seven years out in Tanzania and Zanzibar, admits preference to being in charge of ‘strugglers’ but will not mind what may come his way.
-I always prefer being in charge of a club that is struggling so that I can lift them up the standings over time
-But if there is a position open at Tusker why can’t I go for it. Being in charge of such a big club will be most welcome
Miembeni
Olaba Coached Mtibwa Sugar in 2004 and 2005 before returning to Kenya to Coach Chemelil Sugar.
He then went to Zanzibar where he spent three seasons at Miembeni and Ocean View. He then made a return to Mtibwa Sugar where he completed the 2010 and 2011 season.
Tusker is now at the hands of stand in Coach George Maina after head Coach Sammy Omollo was shown the door on Wednesday 15 August 2012.
