Stanley Okumbi, head Coach to Kenyan Premier side Mathare United was a disappointed man after his side’s 2-2 draw with Gor Mahia.
Speaking of the match, which his side was leading 2-1, by the half-time break, Okumbi said that it was unfortunate that they had to give up a good lead.
-We had the chance to seal the game from very early on but we clearly gave away the win, said Okumbi, in post match interviews.
Mistakes
Okumbi pointed out finishing as his team’s primary undoing and promised to work on it going into the future.
-Scoring is what I have been working on and I still need to work on, because as you saw, we got very many chances but we could not positively use them.
Standings
