Karuturi Sport defender Benjamin Oketch is set to resume action in the Tusker Premier League (TPL) after spending over six months out with a knee injury.

The defender sustained the injury in the team’s preparations to face off with Mathare United in the second leg of the 2012 championship but has been undergoing treatment and he informed futaa.com that he may be back in two weeks.

Tusker game

Oketch says he is back in training and if what he feels is anything to go by, he should be back in contention for the match against Tusker in Nairobi, a week after his team plays AFC Leopards at home.

-I am feeling well right now and I am even back in training though I am not at 100% at the moment. I do not think I will be ready for the AFC Leopards game but in the following match things could be fine and I know I will be in contention, he said.

Karuturi Sport lost their opening game of the season against newly promoted side Kakamega Homeboyz FC.
