The Coach of Nigerian
duo of Chukwuma Akabueze and Kim Ojo, Rune Skarsfjorden was absolutely
delighted at Brann as they won their season's third away game and was also full
of Praises for his players.
The manager was happy to see his side take a 4-3 win despite the fact that they do not have so much at stake to play for, seeing that the season is fast coming to an end.
- What delights me most is to see how happy the players are winning in spite of our position on the league table.
-The fact that we win matches together still means the most to us, and it is a crucial feature to have in the Eliteserien League, said the impressed coach.
Skarsfjorden could not hide his joy as the last kick of the Monday Eliteserien encounter against Fredrikstad was turned into the net by one of their opponents for an own goal as he ran to celebrate with his players.
- It's a long time since I've jumped so quickly without getting stretch, so it's possible I'm in good shape, he says with a smile.
Skarsfjorden said it was good they scored four goals away from home in a move initiaited by Nigerian striker, Kim Ojo.
-We scored four goals away from home, and that was good in a difficult game at that. We are doing some amazing good attack and we are especially good at transitions. Apart from the goals scored in this match we probably, also had the biggest chances. I think I'm happy with the outcome, said the excited Coach.
Brann as won some matches in overtime this season and the manager says he is not surprised at all, claiming they have the energy to do so.
- We make out at the end and win the game in overtime. The fact that we are able to finish the fight at the end does not surprise me, we had the energy, and we want to win away games because we have done so a few times a year, says the coach.
Ojo opened scoring in the 24th minute of the game after the Fredrikstad had earlier taken the lead as early as the third minute.
Compatriot, Chukwuma Akabueze also came in the 70th minute of the encounter and his effort was vital in getting all three points for the team.
