Ogutu: Mathare game will give us direction

Ogutu

As Oserian angles for the challenge of the 2008 Tusker Premier League (TPL) champions Mathare United on Saturday 20 October deputy coach Peter Ogutu has termed the game their season’s decider.

Direction

Though he is looking forward to positive results in all the remaining four matches, Ogutu says the game against the Slum Boys will give them a direction as to what position they will be at season end as they look to steer clear of the relegation zone.

-We are preparing well for the remaining matches and we know what each games means to us now. Everyone is prepared to roll their sleeve for the team and we know we will beat the relegation trapdoor.

Good result

-The Mathare United game will give us the direction for the season, it might be a bit late in the season but we know all is not lost; we will play like our lives depend on it and I am sure will get a good result unlike in the past few matches when we were so close, he told futaa.com.

Oserian lost 2 – 3 to Ulinzi Stars on Saturday 13 October in one of their build up matches as they eye the former champions’ scalp.
