Odhiambo optimistic ahead of Sunday fixture

David Odhiambo, the Suba Lakers stand in coach is confident that despite playing away from home, his team can manage a positive result in the Sunday 21 October match against Oserian Ladies in the two sides’ Division One encounter at the Oserian Stadium.

Equal chance

Odhiambo holds that though Oserian has the home support, both teams stand an equal chance and admitted that with the preparation Suba Lakers had, they expect a point at the least from the game.

-They are favourites especially since they are playing at home but I have confidence in my girls too; we have prepared well and I know we will leave with something. Performance in the ninety minutes is what matters. I believe we have an equal chance as them, he told futaa.com.

Oserian will go into the game from the back of a 3 – 3 draw with Nyuki Starlets on Saturday 20 October.
