Ocholla named Ulinzi’s best player

Former Kenyan international midfielder Stephen Ocholla has been voted Ulinzi Stars’ player of the year in the 2012 Tusker Premier League [TPL] season.

In the Awards Ceremony held on Friday 11 January at Midlands Hotel, Nakuru, prolific Evans Amuoka walked away with the golden-boot award after scoring twelve league goals last season.

Second time

Jacktone Odhiambo and Chester Okoyo retained their goalkeeper and midfielder’s awards respectively, while Kevin Ouma clinched the defender’s award.

Goalkeeper James Saruni was named the most disciplined player as John Apolo [fan] took home the Chairman’s award.
