Ochieng’: We can’t afford to lose to Thika

Omuse

Western Stima Team Manager Paul Ochieng’ is confident his side will cruise past Thika United when the two teams lock-horns in a Tusker Premier League clash, on Sunday 21 October, at Thika Municipal Stadium.

To cement their top eight-finish, the former Kenyan international defender wants the Power-men to make amends for last month’s defeat to KCB when they face Thika.

Guns blazing

-We are well prepared and I have a full house at my disposal;no injury or suspension.

-I am hopeful that we will win on Sunday. We want to seal our fate in the top eight.

-I don’t think we are in a position of dropping any more points in the remaining matches, said Ochieng’ to futaa.com.

In the reverse leg at Bukhungu, both teams shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

With four matches to go, Stima are ranked seventh on the log, six points behind fifth placed Thika.
