Ochieng: We missed our chances

Zoo Kericho coach Ken Otieno admits Nakuru AllStars were deserving winners in their Saturday 14 July FKF Division One Zone B encounter at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru in which his team lost 4 – 1.

Created enough chances

Otieno acknowledges that both sides had their fair share of chances and the hosts used theirs well while his team missed but vowed to strive and correct the mistakes seen in the game in their future encounters.

The only complaint that the coach will carry home is the awarding of a penalty to Nakuru AllStars late in the game as they were trailing 3 – 1.

Penalty questions

-It was a well balanced match; we created our chances just as Nakuru did but they took theirs well while we missed ours. In future we will strive to be sharper upfront. The only disagreement I have is the awarding of a penalty to Nakuru. I think it was supposed to be a foul for us because their player collided with our keeper, he told futaa.com.

Moses Odhiambo scored Zoo’s only goal of the game in the 88th minute.
