Ochieng confirms exit, hopeful of new deal

Gideon Ochieng
Former City Stars coach Gideon Ochieng is hopeful of getting a deal by the start of the 2012 season.

Ochieng, also previously of Congo United in the 2011 season, will no be going back to City Stars, who he joined later in the season, to help stave off relegation to the second tier.

Having completed his task, he announced that he would not be continuing at the Stars and has now announced that he is indeed looking for other deals.

-I will not be returning to City Stars. As I said earlier, my work there is done.

-At the moment, I have a couple of offers I am looking at, but I cannot name names. I will hopefully have an answer by the beggining of the new season, he told Futaa.com.

Top flight return

Most on his radar is a return to the Kenyan Premier League.

-What I am looking out most for, is a return to the Kenyan Premier League. That is what I am most in need of, he said.

City Stars finished in position 14 in the 2011 KPL season.
