Kenyan midfielder, Patrick Oboya has urged his colleagues to play as team when they face Malawi, in a 2014 World Cup qualifier tussle, on June 2, at MISC Kasarani.
In an interview with Cafonline.com, the MFK Ruzomberok attacking midfielder said that even though their opponents have many foreign-based players in the squad, they are ready for the task.
Optimistic
-I have watched them several times and they play more like the Africa champions Zambia. Malawi has a galaxy of professional players and it will be vital for us to play as a team in order to contain them.
-I know it won’t be an easy task because they also want to qualify for the next stage of the World Cup qualifiers. I strongly believe that our current squad has a lot of potential and determination to do well, said Oboya.
The former FK Banik Most winger last featured for Harambee Stars four years ago when he scored the winning goal against Angola.
