KRA’s lethal striker Obadiah Ndege is eyeing for a prestigious golden boot award in the Nation-Wide 1 league by the end of the season.
With only seven matches to go, the speedy goal-poacher has netted 17 goals in 23 games and his aim is to score 24 goals and above.
-I am very happy with my scoring spree form and I am enjoying it with my whole heart. All credit goes to my teammates who are working tirelessly to ensure that I score. But it’s a double effort since I am up in the race same for the KPL promotion for KRA next season, Ndege told futaa.com.
-By the end of the season, hopefully my dream would have come true. That’s a target of more than 24 goals under my name, said a jubilant Ndege.
Weekend’s thriller
Ndege was on the scoring-sheet in their 2-2 draw against Real Kisumu FC on Saturday 24 September and also find the back of the net during 1- 0 victory over Nakuru Allstars in a thrilling match the following day.
