Nzomo benched in Mathare changes

The 2008 Tusker Premier League (TPL) champions Mathare United will be hosting Chemelil Sugar FC at the Nairobi City Stadium in the 1400hrs kickoff. The Slum Boys’ squad for the clash has been named.

Three changes

Coach Stanley Okumbi has made three key changes in the starting line up from the team that drew 1 – 1 with Nairobi City Stars in their last match; Dennis Nzomo, Vincent Okello and John Odhiambo all drop to the bench.

Top scorer Jesse Were, Kelvin Omondi, Joseph Mwangi and Kennedy Omogi all get starting berths while Francis Ouma is named on the bench.

Starting XI: Martin Musalia (GK), Lloyd Wahome, Anthony Kimani (Cpt), Athman Buki, Ken Omogi, Tyrus Omondi, Kevin Omondi, Jesse Were, Andrew Tololwa, Joseph Mwangi, Simon Mburu
