On Sunday 9 September 2012, Nzoia United failed to make use of home ground advantage to narrowly go down 0-1 to visiting Nakuru AllStars.

-It was a very tough game. My boys played very well but could not turn the game around

-Nakuru AllStars scored early then used their experience to defend the goal well to the very end

-My boys tried really hard but the game ended in a loss. There was nothing to complain about as the officiating in the game was very good, added Kadenge

Nakuru AllStars win sent the team eight points clear of Nzoia to hit 63 points from 28 games.

The Nakuru based side remains fourth in the 20-team Division One Zone B log with Nzoia retaining fifth spot
