Nyayo changing colour

As Safaricom prepare to host  the 2012 edition of the Safaricom Sevens rugby tournament at the Nyayo Stadium, the venue is also receiving a lift to go with the theme of the day.

The interior of the usually red and white stadium is now receiving a new coat of green and white, the corporate colours of the telecommunications services provider.

Whilst it is not clear what the agreement between Safaricom and the Sports Stadia Management Board was, it remains to be seen whether the paintwork will be readjusted to its former self after the end of the event.
