After landing a chance for top flight football in Norway, Kenya’s first choice keeper Arnod [Otieno] Origi’s arrival at Fredrikstad has left the team’s Sporting Director very elated.
The team is happy at having Origi after all its three keepers were rendered unavailable for the season due to injury.

- We are very pleased to have Arnold in place of the season. Arnold has international experience and a keeper who plays at a very good level, said Joacim Jonsson, the Sporting Director as quoted by the club website
- Arnold has impressed in training and we are very confident that he is in place, he added.
Fredrikstad were permitted to sign Origi on loan from third tier side Moss FK by the Norway Football Federation to sign Origi outside the transfer window to fill the void left by its three injured keepers namely Lasse Staw , Bjørn Erik Kristiansen and Milos Crnogorac.

Origi is expected to tend goal for his side in Fredrikstad’s final two games of the season, the first of which will be later on Sunday 20 November 2011 against Aalesund. The final game of the season is on Sunday 27 November against Lillestrøm.
Fredrikstad is currently placed 13th in the 16 team Tippeligaen, Norway’s best league, with 32 points from 28 rounds of play.
