With four rounds to go to the conclusion of the Norway’s
Division 2, Fram Larvik will not be gaining promotion to Division One, at
least not this year.
Rue a rough patch
With 33 points from 22 games, Fram, home to Kenyan pair of Boniventure Maruti and Christian Bwamy, is 13 points off the pace currently being held by Elverum.
Fram, once top of the 14-team Avdeling (Group) 1 will rue a rough patch that saw the side fail to win eight games in a row, a run that squarely put the side out of the promotion race to Division One.
Draw against Grorud
The bad streak began with a barren draw against Grorud back on 28 July. A win finally came, but a little too late; a 2-0 win over bottom placed Brumunddal on Saturday 22 September.
Fram will be back in action on Monday 1 October 2012 with a round 23 game to be played away to Strømsgodset II.
