Having had a disastrous start to the season, the men in purple were hoping to atleast get on the mark as regards a three point haul, but it was not to be against a vibrant Brugge outfit.
Carlos Bacca opened the scoring after 19 minutes but Beerschot were back in the hunt just after half time, Stijn Wuytens equalising for the visitors at the Jan BreydelStadion in Brugge.
Dominated second half
From there though, it was all Brugge, with Jonathan Blondel adding the second 16 minutes from time.
The final nail in the coffin was delivered by Thomas Meunier on the stroke of full time.
The result leaves Beerschot second bottom in the standings, with just one point from four matches played. Omollo will hope that he gets more playing time this season than last, as he looks to establish themselves in the club's starting squad.
