No more painful spells for SoNy keeper

Wilson Oburu

SoNy Sugar goalkeeper Wilson Oburu’s time with the 2006 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions is getting sweeter as time moves as he admits to receding pain in his knee as he continues training with his new side.

Enjoying stay

The former Sofapaka custodian made a move to the South Nyanza side after having endured a whole season out nursing his injured knee and has already established a happy abode at the club and he says he is enjoying his time there.

Speaking to futaa.com, Oburu admitted to be enjoying daily training with his team mates as the problematic knee grows painless by the day and hoped for a good turn of events after the injury nightmare.

Best time

-My time here is the best ever in my career. Every day I enjoy training with my team mates and the pain in my knee is also reducing well, I see improvement daily. I hope for a good turn in events during my time here and also to avoid any repeat of the injury nightmare I had in the past season, he said.
