The Kenyan U23 team’s plans were thrown into disarray on Sunday 8 June with the cancellation of the planned friendly match with the Botswana national side on Thursday 12 July after the Southern African nation failed to confirm participation.
Not in camp
The team’s way forward remains unclear up to now since there has been no communication from the federation as confirmed by the team manager Mr. Willis Waliaula who also confirmed that the players are not in camp.
Hope
-We are still waiting to be told what will happen now; there has been no communication from the people up there at the moment but we are still waiting. With the setback, the youngsters are not even in camp. Hopefully there will be a resolution, he told futaa.com.
