New sponsors for UoN as they merge with Wazito

The University of Nairobi [UoN] has merged with Wazito FC (Alumni team) to form a strong team that will participate in the 2012 Nairobi County League.

Wazito FC the new identity for the team has also acquired Tecno Mobile as their new sponsors and will work closely with the UoN administration in supporting the team.

-To abide the new rule set by Football Kenya Federation, we have decided to join Wazito FC and form a strong team for the league, Dennis Wafula UoN skipper told futaa.com.

-At the same time, we’ve have new sponsors on board from Tecno Mobile, who will work closely with the administration in financing the team, revealed defender.

-We’re happy for the deal and we’re now up to the task to ensure we get promoted next year as we have everything at our disposal, vowed Wafula.
