New Sofapaka coach given thumbs up

David Ouma
New Sofapaka FC coach Stewart Hall has received the backing of current assistant David Ouma.

Hall, has been appointed by the club to take over the reigns in the final stages of the 2012 Tusker Premier League season after a dissapointing second third of the season for the 2009 champions.

The former Azam coach replaces Salim Ali who was sacked amidst the poor form and Ouma, who has taken over the first team in the absence of a full time coach, has welcomed the arrival of the Englishman.

Complete the family

- I welcome the arrival of the new coach. He will only improve us as a club.

- Here at Sofapaka, we are a family and to complete the family set-up, we have the new coach. It brings us joy and satisfaction to have him around, Ouma said before the barren draw with Tusker FC.

Still in with a chance

Sofapaka and hall are still in with a shout for the TPL title, as they are just five points behind leadesr AFC Leopards with seven games to go.
