Arsenal’s new midfielder Santiago Santi Cazorla González, 27, has been named the EA SPORTS Player of the Month.

Distant second 

According to arsenal.com, Carzola won the award by a land slide following his good start at the club since the beginning of the season.

In a poll, the Spanish international nailed the Award with 72.3% of the votes leaving Abou Diaby a very distant second with 9%.

£16.5million move

Mikel Arteta polled third with 5.4% of the votes while all others getting a cumulative 13.3%.

Carzola, a former Reacreativo and Villarreal player, joined Arsenal in early August 2012 in a £16.5million move from Malaga.
