National team players get advance allowances

Just before hitting the road from Ghana to Togo, at about 1600hrs, Harambee Stars players were handed advance allowances.

Confirming as much was Hussein Terry from Football Kenyan Federation (FKF) who is the head of delegation.

-I want it to be known that we paid all the team members their allowances just before we set off, he said on a direct call from Ghana to futaa.com

Harambee Stars has been shaping up in Ghana since Tuesday for a return leg first round 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Togo for a game set for Sunday 17 June from 1830hrs.

The aggregate winner from that game will qualify for the second round of the campaign. Kenya heads into Togo with a 2-1 advantage from the first leg.
