Nandwa: There is no shortcut

Karuturi Sports under their new Coach James Nandwa come into the Top 8 Knock-out tournament with confidence after they beat Congo United 2-0 at their home turf in the Kenyan Premier League on Sunday 3rd April 2011.

They now face a tough test in Ulinzi Stars a game which coach James Nandwa is focused on.

- There is no shortcut in such a knock out tournament, we will play according to instructions and put all workhard and effort needed to secure a win, Nandwa, voted third best Coach at the close of 2010 told kenyanfootie.com

Absentees

The team will miss out on Ibrahim Annan and David Seda who are sidelined with injuries. The derby will be a main attraction this evening as both teams have same points in the Kenyan Premier League standings, all at seven points.

Both teams character will be put to the test as they have gradually gained momentum in the league.

Coach Nandwa said that his boys were ready and eager for the clash that is set to see two neighboring sides battle for supremacy.

Karuturi Sports are currently at position 10 with seven points, two wins, one draw and two losses after the five matches.

The match will kick off at 5 PM,Nyayo National Stadium.
