Moments after being pronounced the new Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports , Budalang’i Member of Parliament Ababu Namwamba is receiving support from stakeholders in Kenyan football.
Congo JMJ United Chairman Evans Mzungu says he has confidence in Namwamba’s ability and says that under his watch, professionalism will be injected into the country’s football.
-Namwamba is a young man and he will be in a better position to understand the issues affecting local football and sports in general, Mzungu told Futaa.com.
-I have been observing him for a while and I can say for sure that his appointment is a definite plus for us, in the industry.
Succession
Namwamba comes in to take the position of Paul Otuoma, who has now been moved to the Ministry of Local Government.
