Naivasha based Tusker Premier League (TPL) side Karuturi Sport is set to face off with league debutantes Muhoroni Youth FC on Saturday 8 September at the Oserian Stadium and the home side’s coach Michael Nam does not expect it easy.
Hard times
Karuturi Sport has been going through trying moments lately, having to deal with massive injury layoffs among their key players and Nam says despite everything his charges are well prepared for the tough encounter.
The coach will be boosted by the return of his goalkeeper Michael Wanyika from an ankle injury while Mohamed Mwachiponi remains a doubt for the game but he admits that his team needs a win as much as the relegation threatened visitors.
Hopeful
-We have had good preparations for the game which I am sure will not be easy going by the stakes up for grabs. They need a win so that they rise high above the drop zone just as we need it to put an end to the dismal run. I hope in the end we will emerge best.
-Muhoroni can be very unpredictable opponents so we will have to apply a lot of caution, he told futaa.com.
