A Division One Zone B tie
between Nakuru
AllStars and Comply,
a Nakuru derby earlier planned for the Afraha Stadium for Saturday 15 September
2012 from 1100hrs will now be played at the Nakuru Athletics Club (NAC).
Easier to shift
Necessitating the changes is a Tusker Premier League tie between Western Stima and AFC Leopards that was shifted from the prior planned Bukhungu Stadium.
-The game will be played at NAC, said Nakuru AllStars CEO Robert Muthomi to futaa.com
-With the Stima – Leopards game live, the logistics of playing prior to the game were major and it was easier to shift the game to another venue, he added while also terming fans hoping to watch the AllStars – Comply game will be charged a flat rate of Kshs 100.
Downward
Heading to the game, Nakuru AllStars is placed fourth with 63 points from 28 games.
A win from the Saturday derby will see the side go level with leaders Homeboyz and Agro Chemicals on 66 points but the team will push the two downwards to claim top spot on goal difference.
16th
On the other hand, Comply needs a win from the game that will see the side move to within two points of 15th placed Longonort Horticulture.
Comply is currently placed 16th with 25 points from 28 games.
