Nakuru AllStars Chair thankful to departures

Division One Zone B side Nakuru AllStars on Wednesday 11 October 2012 parted ways with its entire technical bench alongside its mid-season top acquisitions, Hugo Nzoka, Titus Mulama, Frank Ggayi and Noah Abich.

Nakuru AllStars Chairperson Pierre Vendelboe has expressed his gratitude to the sacked and wished them all the best in their future endeavors.

-I want to thank Titus, Abich and Hugo for their efforts. Unfortunately we did not succeed in getting promotion, but they all worked hard to get us there. It's not easy stepping down to a lower level, but they handled it like true professionals, Pierre told futaa.com.


- I'm sure they will make an impact in the TPL next season, at whatever team they join. Even though we didn't get the promotion,having them in our team was not in vain. Our younger players have gained from training with players of this caliber and experience, he added.

Pierre also said that preparations for next are already in gear saying the team would come out stronger next season.

Next Season

- We are now preparing for next season, and the young players, who we have been working with for a while now, will be the cornerstone of the future Nakuru AllStars team. People will see an even stronger AllStars team in the future, he said.

AllStars is fourth in the Zone B table with 69 points from 32 matches. Kakamega Homeboyz tops the table with 78 points from 33 matches while Agrochemicals and Finlays Horticulture are second and third with 75 and 72 points respectively.
