Nakuru AllStars banked at City

Kenya Premier League club KCB managed to stage a strong comeback and snatch a deserved 2-1 win over Division One side Nakuru AllStars on Wednesday at the City Stadium.

The match kicked off at noon under the scorching sun and drugged on to a scoreless first half with both sides lacking the finishing touch.

That however did not stop AllStars danger man Kux Andati from hitting the opener in the 50th minute as the second half picked up in pace.

The bankers however liked a probed beehive staged a strong comeback with youthful striker Paul Mungai netting a thunderbolt in the 65th minute for the equalizer.

New signing from Mathare United scored his second at KCB ten minutes later to ensure that the team took the lead in the match.

Last friendly

That was the last friendly for the KPL side before the start of the 2012 season scheduled for coming weekend.

They[KCB] kick off campaigns against 2012 champions Ulinzi Stars at the same grounds on Sunday 12 February 2012.
