Nakumatt FC beat Baba Dogo United 2-1 in a Nairobi Provincial League (NPL) match played on Thursday 27 September 2012 at the Baba Dogo Grounds in Nairobi.
Scorers
Baba Dogo took the lead in the 27th minute through Malvin Otieno but Nakumatt’s David Kariuki restored parity in the 50th minute.
Peter Nzuki ensured Nakumatt took the maximum points by scoring with ten minutes to stoppage time.
Remarks
Nakumatt Head Coach George Ouma Head Coach was in high spirits after the match, saying his players played per instructions.
-We did not win with a bigger margin but impressed with how my team played. What matters is that we picked up all the points, Ouma told futaa.com.
Nakumatt is second in the 20-team NPL table with 75 points from 36 matches. Jericho AllStars tops the log with 83 points having played 38 games.
