Mwingi League lands sponsorship

Teams taking part in the Mwingi District League have little to worry about as far as finances are concerned in the second leg.

According to the Mwingi FKF Sub branch secretary Musyoka Mulungi, Hon. Kiema Kilonzo, the Mutito Member of Parliament has pledged to finance all the teams’ second leg matches and the mini league scheduled thereafter.

Speaking to futaa.com, Musyoka said the MP will also pay the teams’ allowances, referees’ fees and provide the prizes for the winners after the mini league.

500,000 shillings

-Hon. Kiema Kilonzo has come on board as the league’s sponsor; he has agreed to dedicate half-a-million to the leagues which will cater for all the teams’ allowances in the second leg plus the mini league.

-He will also take charge of the referees’ pay and the winners’ prizes and on behalf of all the teams I want to pass my gratitude for his generosity, he told futaa.com.

The Mwingi District League is sub divided into three; the Mwingi Central League (seven teams), Migwani League (eight teams) and the Ngutani League (five teams).
