The Black Stars from Ghana have been cautioned against taking their semifinal clash against Chipolopolo for granted since they were under close watch.
AC Milan midfielder Ali Sulley Muntari assured cafonline that the team is treating their match with utmost seriousness and has no excuse for lose it.
Under pressure
- There is a bit of pressure when you are always the favorites. Since the FIFA World Cup in 2006, we have been playing well and exhibited great talent. People are expecting a lot from us and we (players) expect to do better as well. We want to win and we are on the right path.
Though the Ghanaians have been touted as the favorites, they will face a resilient Chipolopolo who have vowed to fight to the bitter end to get the coveted trophy.
Zambia walloped East African representatives Sudan 3-0 in the quarterfinals and earned a deserved place in the semifinals while Ghana struggled past Tunisia 2-1 to book their place.
