Mulama acclaims his charges after emphatic win

Simeon Mulama

Nakuru AllStars FC Coach Simeon Mulama couldn’t hide his joy after the Division One League outfit humiliated Laikipia Academy 18-0 in an exhibition match, on Tuesday 3 July, at Afraha Stadium.

According to the former Kenyan international, the friendly was part of his training program and the progress is encouraging.

Right direction

-There was nothing special with that win but I am happy the cohesion of the team is promising, Mulama told futaa.com.

-In preparation of the second leg, I think that’s a good sign from both the old and new players. We are actually testing all the players as we look for a perfect combination, he added.

Big role

Apart from Titus Mulama all the new signings led by Hugo Nzoka, Noah Abich, Titus Achesa, Frank Ggayi and David Mwangi featured in the match.

AllStars currently ranked second courtesy of goal superiority will travel to Nyahururu on Sunday 8 July to face Yanga FC in a second leg opener.
