Tusker FC forward Dennis Mukaisi says that the Kenyan Premier League champions are ready to face Mafunzo FC in their first Group B match, of the on-going Kagame Club Cup Championship, scheduled on Thursday 19 July, in Dar es Salaam.
Mafunzo forced Azam FC to a 1-1 draw in the opening match, and both of them need to beat Tusker to advance to the quarterfinals.
Knock-out stage
-We have trained very well and we are aware of the hurdles that lie ahead of us, Mukaisi told futaa.com.
-Azam has two Kenyan players (Ibrahim Shikanda and George Odhiambo) who know us very well, but that will not deter us from making our fans proud.
-Mafunzo match is a do or die encounter, and we have to win it by all means to get motivated for our final match. Our target is to advance to the quarters, nothing less than that, insisted the striker.
