On Sunday 30 September 2012, Muhoroni dropped a Tusker Premier League game 1-2 at the Afraha Stadium to AFC Leopards.

Muhoroni had shifted the game from their backyard to Afraha as the game was considered ‘high risk’.

Having missed out on three league points, Muhoroni did however get a bag full of cash, Kshs 401,000 (before deduction) to be exact from the gate takings.

According to Ticket Masters, Kshs 63,000 was raised from the sale of 126 VIP tickets each of which retailed at Kshs 500.

Kshs 338,000 was raised from the sale of 1,690 terraces tickets at Kshs 200 each.
