Muhoroni lose six key players

Six key players have left Tusker Premier League [TPL] side Muhoroni Youth ahead of the 2013 season.

The released players are Ibrahim Ateng, Abbey Natty Kunrumi, Elly Otuoma, Joseck Gathongo, Gregory Nyapala and Hamisi Mwinyi.

New clubs

Ateng is now at Nairobi City Stars, Kunrumi at Gor Mahia, Otuoma at Kakamega Homeboyz, Gathongo at SoNy Sugar while Nyapala and Mwinyi are still free agents.

Announcing the departure of the six players, Coach Alfred Imonje said that they are in the process of reinforcing the team and replacing those who left.


-We finished with only 18 players last season. Six more players have left again, but I believe we will soon get their replacements, Imonje told futaa.com.

Muhoroni, who survived relegation last season, resumed their preseason training on Thursday 3 January.
