Tusker Premier League debutants Muhoroni Youth moved closer to top flight survival with a hard fought 0 – 0 draw with neighbours Chemelil Sugar in the Monday 29 October fixture at the Chemelil Sports Complex.
After the result, the Muhoroni chairman Moses Adagala shared his satisfaction at the result and lauded his players and the team’s technical bench for a spirited fight shown at their cross town adversaries.
Speaking to futaa.com, he said the team now just needs a point from the remaining two games to be assured of premier league football next season, a factor he is assured will come to fruition.
-This was a very acceptable result especially since we were playing away from home. It now means we need just a point from the two remaining matches which I seriously believe we’ll do.
-I want to thank the players, the technical bench, our fans and all stakeholders at Muhoroni Youth for their input not just in this game but all season. It has been a great season so far, he said.
Muhoroni Youth will next take on Gor Mahia before wrapping it all up with a trip to Bukhungu Stadium to face off with Western Stima.
