Mugalia, Mieno set for Cyprus trials

Striker Bob Mugalia and midfielder Humphrey Mieno both of Sofapaka have been lined up for trails in Cyprus in January 2012.

This has been revealed to futaa.com by Batoto ba mungu’s president Elly Kalekwa who confirmed that the two will be heading out to UEFA Champions League regulars APEOL Nicosia

- Bob [Mugalia] and Mieno will be heading to APOEL for trials. We delayed it a bit so that they go in January, said Elly

The two Harambee Stars players will spend a few weeks at the club founded in 1926 and full of history. The club has won a record 21 Cypriot league trophies as well as 19 cups and 12 super cups.

In the 2011–12 UEFA Champions League; the team made history by topping its pool to become the first Cypriot club to qualify for the group stages.
