Mugalia is going to Europe, not Gor Mahia – Kalekwa

Elly Kalekwa

Sofapaka president Elly Kalekwa has laughed at the speculated allegations that Sofapaka’s Kenyan international striker Bob Mugalia will make a switch to Gor Mahia in the near future, terming the issue as a Gor Mahia creation.

Europe bound

Speaking to futaa.com, Kalekwa revealed that Mugalia will be leaving the country sometime next week for Europe where he is scheduled to undergo trials in three countries, which he will complete in January.

-What you are hearing about Mugalia joining Gor Mahia is just their creation; Bob has important things to think about. He is scheduled for trials in Turkey, France and Cyprus between next week and January so whatever is being said about Gor Mahia treat it like a rumor, he said.

Under Gor’s radar

Mugalia has been central for Sofapaka in the last three seasons, and has constantly been under Gor Mahia’s radar ever since he was spotted in the team’s jersey at one of their games last season.
