The 2009 Kenyan Premier League champions have started the new season in flying fashion and currently top the Kenyan Premier League table, albeit behind AFC Leopards on goal difference.
In their latest league clash, the club saw off Ulinzi Stars 3-2, Monday 26 March 2012, despite playing the majority of the second half with ten men after Humphrey Mieno's sending off.
Mudde, who came on to cover for Mieno's loss, is impressed with the way the club is moving and beleives that they will challenge for the title to the end.
Good spirit
-We won a very tough game against Ulinzi, one which many people thought we would lose when we went down to ten men.
-That win shows that we have good players in the squad and they are willing to fight very hard to make sure we win and get good results.
-I think that we will fight for the league title. It is a long season and there are some tough teams, but I think that we have a good squad, capable of winning the league, Mudde told Futaa.com.
Sofapaka are unbeaten in the 2012 KPL to date.
