Sofapaka FC fullback Osborne Monday, is likely to miss their FK Cup final match against Gor Mahia FC on Wednesday 26 October at City Stadium.
Monday a dependable player in the Batato Ba Mungu squad sustained an injury on Sunday while training with his teammates ahead of the eagerly anticipated final.
Duo still out
Apart from Monday, Sofapaka will also opt to play without relent services of Tanzanian import Idrissa Rajab and his Congolese counterpart Patrick Kagogo. Rajab is out due to personal reasons while Kagogo is recovering from stomach complications.
-Monday picked up an injury on training session on Sunday and he’s likely to miss the match, Sofapaka’s TM Jaques Ngarambe revealed to futaa.com.
-But for Kagogo and Rajab they are still unavailable till further notice, he added.
Sofapaka will be looking forward to defend the title they won last year and book a ticket to represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup next year.
