The Kajiado County League was over the weekend hit by massive postponements.
This is following the deaths of Internal Security Minister Hon. George Saitoti and his assistant Hon. Orwa Ojode due to a plane crash on Sunday 10 June 2012.
Saitoti's death was especially felt as he was the member of Parliament for the Kajiado North constituency, which houses most of the teams taking part in the league.
However, they were matches played on Saturday 9 June in Zone A only.
Zone B cut out
Zone A consists of teams that come from the Ongata Rongai, Kiserian and Ngong areas.
Diguna- Kiserian deaf 7-0
Real Rongai- MMU 2-1
Mayor RD- Achievers 1-2
Bul- Ngamwaza1-3
NPC- Nkoroi 7-0.
Kiserian- Ngong 1-2.
Zone B, which caters for the Isinya and Kitengela areas had matches scheduled for Sunday 10 June, thus were all postponed due to the day's tragic events.
